In this edition of El Paso Prime Time, host Richard Dayoub from Thunderbird Management welcomes to the KTEP studios Sam Bregman, Bernalillo County District Attorney, and Chairman of the Organized Crime Commission (OCC). They will talk about the work that the OCC does, their goals, and how they stop crime from spreading in New Mexico and surrounding areas. They will also discuss the organized crime problems we are facing in the borderlands and their approach to solve the complex issues by sharing intelligence and stopping criminal organizations.
Sam Bregman is a seasoned litigator with nearly three decades of trial experience. He was appointed by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham as District Attorney of Bernalillo County in January 2023. As a proud graduate of the University of New Mexico School of Law, Bregman has spent his career fighting for New Mexicans, practicing both criminal and civil law. He is dedicated to relentlessly pursuing justice and safety for those in Bernalillo County.
