Dr. Jackie Richard on Black History Month

In this edition of El Paso Prime Time, host Richard Dayoub from Thunderbird Management welcomes to the KTEP studios Doctor Jackie Richard to talk about the importance of celebrating Black History Month and the impact that it has had in our community. She will also explain this year's theme for the month, and share some important historical moments of the black community in El Paso, celebrating how it has gone to lengths to promote racial equality. Finally, they will share more news about the Inauguration El Paso Black Hall Of Fame Induction.

Dr. Jackeline Biddle Richard began her nursing career as an intensive care (ICU) nurse and worked in the ICU at various Level I trauma centers in New Jersey. She transitioned into higher education after serving as a manager of clinical education and practice for a healthcare system in New Jersey. In higher education, she most recently served as a dean of nursing for an LVN program in Texas. As an attorney, she was an associate in a medical malpractice firm prior to opening her own law firm where she focused primarily on criminal law, personal injury and nursing liability. Professionally, she is a board of director member of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN). She is also the Texas chapter president-elect for The American Association of Nurse Attorneys (TANNA).
