City Representative Alejandra Chavez

In this edition of El Paso Prime Time, host Richard Dayoub from Thunderbird Management welcomes to the KTEP studios City Representative for District 1, Alejandra Chavez to introduce herself to the community and talk about her top priorities serving her district. She will also talk about her experience in City Council and the challenges and opportunities this has presented during the first days and working with the Mayor.

Alejandra Chávez is a proud El Paso native and graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications with a Minor in Business Administration. She began her career in Corporate America before pursuing her lifelong dream of studying culinary arts, earning a master’s degree at the prestigious Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners (ICIF), where she was honored as “A Friend of Italian Cuisine.”

Richard E. Dayoub is a proud El Pasoan and serves on many community community boards including the Sun Bowl Association and El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank.
