In this edition of El Paso Prime Time, host Richard Dayoub from Thunderbird Management welcomes to the KTEP studios El Paso Airport’s Director of Aviation, Tony Nevarez, to talk about his background in aviation and involvement in the Airport. They will discuss several innovations taking place in the Airport, as well as the many ongoing initiatives he is leading that are helping economic development efforts in El Paso.

Nevarez’s career at the El Paso International Airport spans more than 20 years, beginning as an Assistant Operations Officer. Since then, he has held several key positions, including Airport Security Coordinator, Operations Manager, and Assistant Director of Aviation for Operations and Security. Most recently, he served as Interim Director of Aviation, demonstrating his steadfast dedication and capacity for leadership.
