The Weird Kidz Go on Tour

/
The Weird Kidz (2022) Distributed by Antenna Releasing

A home-grown project that has had its own odyssey will finally be shown to broader audiences. The Weird Kidz, by El Pasoan Zach Passero, is being distributed by Antenna Releasing and will kick off with a theatrical road show called the “Embrace the Weird” Tour. The tour will hit 13 cities from coast to coast before showing in theaters everywhere. The film stars an incredible voice cast including Ellar Coltrane, Angela Bettis, Sean Bridgers and many more talented individuals.

The Weird Kidz follows three twelve-year-old friends who go camping in the desert with one of the boys’ older brother and his girlfriend. When they hear about a local urban legend about a creature in the desert and dismiss it, things start to get weird. Join this edition of On Film with Host Carlos de la Torre and special guest Zack Passero, writer, director, and animator of The Weird Kidz, to further discuss his film before leaving on a thirteen-date tour.
