Clayton Szczech speaks about his experience of growing up in Bakersfield, California, and how his Spanish is so good. He traces back to learning Spanish in high school and kept learning knowing he could communicate with more people he grew up around. In high school, he and his friend went to San Diego and crossed the border and of course the rest is history! Clayton has always had an open mind to keep learning and keep the community united knowing we all are different from each other we still deserve unity.
In the Field Guide to Tequila, Clayton gives out the history and how, where it all started. He gets into the stereotypes of movies and Tequila and how the shock comes to reality understanding it is a whole different world within the Fields of Tequila and having the knowledge of how a plant makes it. Especially with people in Jalisco because they know how to drink Tequila, it is a whole shock when you learn the ways of drinking Tequila, the history, the making, the science, and the whole experience behind it.
