Kelly Barnhill has created a beautiful book titled “The Ogress and the Orphans.” As she is being interviewed by Louie Saenz here at KTEP, she speaks about how she had fallen from the stairs and hit her head, losing her memory. Luckily, throughout the years, she slowly remembered how she and her son used to play together and how she would read to him. She used to love telling stories as a child and loved fairy tales as well. She never saw herself as a writer until she went to college and took a turn in her major.
