Anthony Piña
On-Air Board OpAnthony Pina is part of the on-air talent, production crew, and also acts as an interview host. He has been in charge of recording and producing shows such as Good To Grow and the local musical showcase show "Exit Stage Left”; the latter which is co-hosted and co-produced with Daisy Morales.
Anthony studied Digital Media Production at UTEP and graduated with a B.A. in that major; it was during his time at UTEP that he realized he wanted to have a broadcast career and found his way into the radio station. His goal was to help local bands gain more coverage by promoting their shows as well as helping their songs reach a wider audience. He is also currently a videographer for local news station KTSM where he applies his audio and production knowledge to other projects in that company.
When Anthony isn’t busy with KTEP or KTSM, he is busy with other side projects such as playing bass in his band Shadow Valley; he is currently trying to start a second musical project. He also enjoys going to concerts, checking out the latest movies, listening to albums and CDs, and spending time with his friends and family. His future personal goals are to either grow in the journalism realm, become a concert photographer, or further his radio career. He is also planning to film a short film and get his band on the road.
