On this week’s episode of Science Studio, Dr. Keith Pannell sits down with Assistant Professor Louis Rouanet to discuss the newly awarded Nobel Prize winners in economics (Dr. Joel Mokyr, Dr. Philippe Aghion, and Dr. Peter Howitt) and the research which won this year's Nobel Prize: Innovation-Driven Economic Growth.

Dr. Louis Rouanet is a Economics and Finance assistant professor at the University of Texas at El Paso. His teaching covers a spectrum of subjects including principles of macroeconomics, development economics, intermediate macroeconomics, as well as money and banking.

London, England’s Dr. Keith Pannell created Science Studio in 1987 and has hosted the show for more than thirty years. With a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Pannell provides listeners with a unique insight on the sciences. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at UTEP.
Olivia Williams is a volunteer at KTEP who is a Board Operator for Fresh Air once a week. She is also a producer at KTEP, editing Science Studio for the station.
