On this week’s episode of Science Studio, Dr. Keith Pannell sits down with Associate Professor Dr. Christopher Link to discuss his research on C. elegans models and Neurodegenerative Deseases.

Dr. Christopher Link is a Integrative Physiology associate professor at the University of Colorado Boulder. The long-term goal of his research is to understand the cellular and molecular basis of age-associated neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease (AD) and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).

London, England’s Dr. Keith Pannell created Science Studio in 1987 and has hosted the show for more than thirty years. With a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Pannell provides listeners with a unique insight on the sciences. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at UTEP.
Olivia Williams is a volunteer at KTEP who is a Board Operator for Fresh Air once a week. She is also a producer at KTEP, editing Science Studio for the station.
