Glenn Allen and Richard Kaufman talk about their newest novel Played, a book that is based on the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Played is a combination of Courage, Politics, Sports and espionage. They also introduce and gather the most famous people, Charlie Chaplin, Mae West, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Joseph Goebbels, Adolf Hitler and more. They share that every country had to salute to Adolf Hitler during that time which will be further discussed in depth during this episode. Not only it is about sports but goes into sharing the history of the Olympics and the politics that goes behind it. During this episode Glenn and Richard have made it very interesting going in depth and elaborating why they created Played and why it is important to have understand the history behind it in relation to this year's Olympic Games. Louie Saenz has been in the news broadcasting business for over thirty years. He has been a News Anchor and Reporter for KDBC-TV, KOAT-TV in Albuquerque, NM and KTSM-TV in El Paso. Saenz earned a degree in Journalism from NMSU, and a Masters in Communication from UTEP. He was the News & Public Affairs Director for KTEP-FM, and a lecturer in the Communication Department. He is also the host of Focus on Campus and co-host on El Paso Prime Time. Louie retired on October of 2024.
Xiomara has been working towards being On-Air for KTEP and as well as working towards being a Radio Engineer, she does volunteer work at KTEP.
