KTEP's CHarlize Mercado welcomes back to the KTEP studios acclaimed Cellist John-Henry Crawford to talk about his special performance in El Paso Pro Musica's Cellobration. He will also talk about his tour last year with Zuill Bailey and celebrating his 25 years in El Paso, his love for cello and other, and more.

American cellist John-Henry Crawford has earned recognition for his “polished charisma” and “singing sound". In 2019, he was awarded First Prize at the IX International Carlos Prieto Cello Competition and was named Young Artist of the Year by the Classical Recording Foundation. Crawford has performed extensively as soloist and recitalist, spanning 25+ states in the U.S. and international appearances in Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Mexico, the Canary Islands and Switzerland.

El Paso Pro Musica's Cellobration will take place April 11, at 7:30 PM at UTEP's Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall.
