Magoffin Home/ Cooking Class"7Cup Salad"- Join us on the first Saturday of every month to get a taste of the food different generations of the Magoffin Family enjoyed. Using recipes from their time, we will recreate popular dishes for the three generations who owned the Home. This year, we will recreate a full day’s menu from breakfast to dinner and even include a mid-afternoon snack!This month, we continue the day’s menu with a recipe from "A Little Bit of Everything". Magoffin Home Free Yoga ClassJoseph Magoffin, as a member of both El Paso’s Board of Health and its Board of Education, was a proponent of physical activities for boys and girls. It is in this spirit that Rebecca leads the class through a vinyasa flow that will get the body and mind centered for the day. Magoffin Home Crochet ClubWhether you have never crocheted or have projects you are working on right now, join us for some crochet in the Home. We will provide instruction and patterns for those who want to try and a soothing space with lots of inspiration for those looking to work on their own. Bring your own supplies or let us supply you. EPQA meets the third Thursday monthly from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM (set-up 6:00 PM) at St. Paul's Methodist Church, 7000 Edgemere Blvd., El Paso, Texas 79925 (Eastside). This is the original guild that started in El Paso, May 1982. Members come from El Paso and surrounding areas in the Borderland. Business meeting includes Show & Tell, different types of drawings and activities, break for snacks/drinks/social time before Show & Tell. We have a yearly Opportunity Quilt as a fundraiser. Guests are welcomed. Workshops are held the Saturday after the Thursday meeting from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (set-up 8:30 AM). Workshops are taught by members or guest instructors. UTEP Youth Programs and Camps has a variety of online and on-campus activities this summer to keep your kids engaged. Young campers can develop their skills, learn and have fun in the many camps we offer. Our camps can help improve academic skills, develop confidence and more.
