  • A new five year plan would invest $67 million dollars in El Paso’s international bridges. The El Paso City Council will be asked to adopt the plan on Tuesday and adopt it as part of the city’s capital improvement program for the next five years.
  • Mayoral candidates raised nearly $250,000 dollars combined between the beginning of July and end of September, according to campaign finance reports. Between eight candidates, over half-a-million dollars were spent during that time period.
  • The El Paso County Commissioners court approved an agreement with a nonprofit to open a diversion center for intoxicated individuals in police custody. The county’s $2 million dollar agreement with Emergence Health Network will last until December 31, 2026.
