  • The city of El Paso’s mass public transportation agency Sun Metro will spend a proposed $103 million dollars on its operations in 2026. Sun Metor Director Anthony DeKeyzer said ridership on the streetcars has surpassed 100 thousand this year, the highest it has ever been.
  • The city of El Paso began budget discussions at City Hall Monday and they will continue this morning. City officials have recommended a $1.3 billion dollar budget for fiscal year 2026, which includes nearly $25 million dollars in new spending.
